S Lab was recently founded at Shenzhen’s Quantum Science Center in the Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area (粤港澳大湾区量子科学中心). With over six years of collective experience, our founding team is dedicated to realizing the potential of quantum computing. By collaborating with academic and industrial partners and using our leading fluxonium technologies, we focus on developing large-scale superconducting quantum processors for "quantum-leaped" artificial intelligence systems and applications.

Job Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated digital and mixed-signal designers to join our multidisciplinary team in designing large-scale superconducting quantum processors and their control systems. All levels of experience are welcome. Candidates with proven leadership skills may be considered for a Team Lead position.
Key Responsibilities:
1.(For Team Lead) Build and lead a team of engineers and scientists for the superconducting digital and mixed signal electronics for the control of superconducting qubits.
2.Develop new innovative solutions for digital and mixed-signal circuits using superconducting materials and devices.
3.Develop new control architecture of superconducting qubits with superconducting digital and mixed signal devices.
4.(For designer) Perform simulations and physical design of the superconducting circuits.
5.(For designer) Contribute to the corresponding EDA tool development.
6.(For tester) Perform measurement and characterization of superconducting electronic devices.
7.(For tester) Contribute to metrology and automated testing system development.
8.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate superconducting control electronics with superconducting qubits and optimize performance.
9.(For Team Lead) Provide mentorship and guidance to foster the growth of junior colleagues within the team.
Key Qualifications:
1.An advanced degree or extensive working experience in relevant technical fields such as experimental or theoretical condensed matter physics, computational electromagnetism, electrical engineering, materials science, cryogenic engineering, or computer engineering.
2.A proven track record in one of the following fields: frontend/backend digital logic design and verification, radio frequency (RF) and mixed signal circuits, or superconducting electronics.
3.Strong programming skills.
4.(For designer) Fluency in digital or analog design/simulation tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, Ansys.
5.(For designer) Familiarity with fabrication process and tapeout procedure.
6.(For tester) Experience in device measurement and characterization.
7.(For tester) Experience in cryogenic systems and software control of lab instruments.
8.Prior experience with superconducting digital logic technologies such as RSFQ or aQFP is a plus.
